Funny Or Die’s Adam Mckay Picks Accent Elimination As Favorite

Comedic shockwaves are being felt throughout Los Angeles and the world as one of the founder’s of Funny Or Die.com has highlighted a recent Zoo Milk short. Adam “Ghost Panther” McKay, a legend in the modern day comedy community, has picked one of our most recent shorts as one of his favorites. It’s called “Frank Labatte’s Accent Elimination Program” and you can find it at Adam’s Funny Or Die Picks. Thanks a bunch Mr. McKay, we’re endebited (sp?) to you and we look forward to someday pitching you our feature length film about an out of work American toothbrush that is hired by the Canadian government to go under cover at Johnson & Johnson.

Writers Strike Video Featured On Yahoo’s Homepage!

Zoo Milk Shows Solidarity During The Writers Strike

We know, we know… “you guys aren’t in the WGA, this strike doesn’t apply to you.” But actually it applies to us more than ever, because the issues the writers guild is fighting for regarding the internet affects us greatly. To get a quick buck now and write for one of the studios is crazy talk, it undermines the momentum of getting the strike resolved. We’ve actually had to put a deal on hold until the strike is over. One project we did which has just started to get a little press is with Crackle.com, but fortunately that was all written & produced months before the strike started.

Please support the writers strike all you up and comers, these guys are fighting for our future rights!

Wall Street Journal Talks About Zoo Milk

Just got a little write-up in the old Wall Street Journal, check out the closing paragraph with Crackle president. *Note - the article is a little vague, just want to clarify that these new Saint James Zoo’s were written over 2 months prior to the writers strike, and that Zoo Milk has a “pencils down” policy until the writers strike is resolved. Hollywood Writers Strike Must Stop Now!

Writers Guild of America. Hollywood… we put together this video, and we’re begging you to stop the writers strike of 2007. We don’t want to see our favorites shows like Desperate Housewives, Lost, The Office, Prison Break, Heroes, and more end up like this. Put your differences aside and bring the writer strike to an end, we don’t want to see it spill into 2008.
